01. How do we pick a location and date?
Every senior session is customized to fit your style and personality. Whether you’re envisioning something coastal, editorial, downtown, nature-inspired, sporty, western, or classic, I’ll help guide you toward locations that fit your vision. Feel free to send inspiration photos or a Pinterest board if you have one! Date can sometimes depend on location if we’re booking a studio or permitted location, so it’s better to nail down location upfront.
02. What should I wear?
Outfits play a huge role in the overall feel of your gallery, and I’m always happy to help! Once booked, you’ll receive a full senior style guide with tips on outfit coordination, colors, accessories, and what photographs best. Most seniors bring a mix of casual, elevated, and personality-based looks.
03. Can I include sports, hobbies, pets, or cap & gown photos?
YES. I love incorporating things that make your session feel personal and unique to you - sports uniforms, instruments, cars, horses, cap & gown photos, pets, and more.
If you haven’t committed to a college yet during your senior session, College Tee Minis can always be added on later once decisions are finalized! Cap & Gown Mini Sessions are also available for past senior clients each spring.
04. Can I bring a parent/friend/boyfriend/girlfriend?
Absolutely! I actually encourage bringing someone who helps you feel comfortable and confident. Just keep in mind too many people can sometimes become distracting, so I usually recommend limiting it to 1–2 guests.
05. I’m awkward in front of the camera!!
I promise almost every senior says this before their session 😂 My approach is very relaxed and natural, and I’ll guide you the entire time so you never have to wonder what to do with your hands or how to pose. The goal is for your photos to feel confident, genuine, and like YOU.
